Haryana BJP core group meeting deliberates on urban local body election strategy

CHANDIGARH: (Apr 15) A meeting of the core group of the Haryana unit of the BJP was held on Tuesday to deliberate on the strategy for the upcoming local body polls, while ongoing party programmes were also reviewed.

The meeting was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and the party's state in-charge Satish Poonia, among others.

During the meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours, discussions were also held regarding the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' (Women's Reservation Act) and other party initiatives that have recently concluded or are scheduled to take place in the coming days.
