Preparations in full swing for PM's proposed Sikkim visit

GANGTOK: (Apr 14) Sikkim Chief Secretary R Telang on Tuesday inspected Paljor Stadium in Gangtok as part of preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit, officials said.

During the visit, Telang emphasised the need for seamless inter-departmental coordination to ensure that all arrangements are in place and function efficiently.

He reviewed the preparedness of the venue, including seating, accessibility, safety protocols, and essential services, to facilitate the smooth conduct of the programme.
