Hoshiarpur/April 12/Daljeet Ajnoha
Nirmal Kutia Tutomazara, led by prominent sevadars Baba Makhansingh and Baba Balbir Singh Shastri, has commenced its annual four-day langar (community kitchen) dedicated to the Baisakhi festival at Tutomazara bus stand, following special prayers (ardas).
The event, held with the support of the entire sangat (devout community), caters to pilgrims heading to Sri Anandpur Sahib to celebrate Baisakhi. Baba Makhansingh and Baba Balbir Singh Shastri jointly announced that the langar, blessed by great saints, will continue for four days, with dedicated sevadars serving food with utmost devotion.
On April 14, coinciding with Vaishakh Sankranti, special programmes are planned at the kutia. These include the completion of ongoing akhand jap (continuous recitation) at 11:30 am, followed by katha (scriptural discourse) and kirtan (devotional singing) until 2 pm. Langar will be distributed to the sangat throughout the day.
