ILLEGAL ARMS SEIZED IN MAJOR OPERATION.

Today acting on a secret source information, at about 12:15 hrs one person namely Md. Yusuf(17)
S/o- Murshid.
Village- Sekhana, Dist- Nalanda, Bihar was detained by a team of STF PS in front of one Pay & Use toilet maintained by PWD on the Eastern side footpath of Strand Road. On being searched.
1) three country made single shot firearms,
2) two 7 mm pistol, 4 pcs of magzines,
3) 18 pcs of 8 mm cartridges and,
4) 22 pcs of 7.65 mm cartridges were recovered from the possession of aforesaid accused person for which he failed to render any satisfactory explanation. The said Arms and Ammunitions were seized and the said accused person was arrested from the above noted place at 15:30 hrs.
Accordingly a case was registered at STF PS vide STF PS Case No-02 dated-08.04.26 U/S-25(1B)(a)/29 Arms Act and 61(2) BNS against the accused person. He will be produced before the court tomorrow.
