Electricity and traffic: Power outages in many areas and traffic jam situation. Pune on 2 April 2026, almost 3 hours of severe unseasonal rain has broken the record of 130 years. According to IMD, Shivajinagar had 65mm and more than 100mm of rain in some areas, causing roads to rivers, vehicles swept away and lives were disrupted.
