UP: Two killed in road accident in Amethi

AMETHI (UP): (Apr 6) Two men were killed in a suspected road accident near the Amethi-Durgapur Road bypass overbridge in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi district, police said on Monday.

The deceased, Aniket Singh, 20 and Sujal Singh, 17, were residents of Pure Roshni village in Korari Girdhar Shah area, they said, adding that the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

According to the police, the duo was returning on a motorcycle late Sunday night when they were critically injured near the overbridge in the Amethi area.
