Gen AI Hackathon Successfully Concluded at GMRIT
Vizianagaram District, Rajam:
The “Gen AI Launchpad” Artificial Intelligence Hackathon at GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT), Rajam, concluded successfully. Around 290 students enthusiastically participated in this two-day event.
Under the guidance of NIAT experts, students worked in an 18-hour project sprint, developing innovative AI-based solutions across sectors such as business, placements, and healthcare. The hackathon served as a platform to showcase the creativity and technical skills of the participants.
In the competition, Team “Nexiforge” secured the first place and won a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. Team “Gane Fusin” secured the second place, while Team “Straw Hats” secured the third place. A total cash prize of ₹2 lakhs was distributed among the winners.
The event was graced by Raviteja Gundeti from Microsoft as the chief guest. Soumya from Google also participated and encouraged the students.
Overall, the hackathon provided valuable hands-on experience to students and emerged as a successful platform for enhancing awareness of future technologies.
