Service Centres to Remain Open on Holidays for Continuous Public Services: DC Ashika Jain

Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain announced that all service centres in the district will remain open on April 8, a Wednesday holiday, just like regular working days, to ensure convenience for citizens.
She stated that people can visit these centres on that day to complete their essential tasks without hassle.
The DC noted that even on April 3, a Friday holiday, the centres were open from 9 am to 5 pm, benefiting a large number of residents. She emphasized that the administration's goal is to provide maximum facilities so citizens avoid unnecessary delays.
All service centres in the district operate regularly every Saturday. Additionally, select centres remain open on Sundays with one counter each from 9 am to 5 pm at District Administrative Complex Hoshiarpur, SDM Complex Mukerian, SDM Complex Garhshankar, Langarpur (Dasuya), and Tehsil Complex Tanda.
DC Jain appealed to the public to make full use of these facilities and complete urgent work even on holidays. She reaffirmed the district administration's commitment to delivering seamless, accessible, and transparent services.
