AAP Govt Shuts Garhshankar Blood Bank Started by Congress, Betrays Locals/Ex-MLA Goldy Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 2

AAP Govt Shuts Garhshankar Blood Bank Started by Congress, Betrays Locals/Ex-MLA Goldy
Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 2
The blood bank established at Civil Hospital Garhshankar during the Congress government has been shut down after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power, cheating the people of the area. Congress former MLA Lov Kumar Goldy made these remarks today while showing journalists the closed blood bank at Civil Hospital Garhshankar.
He stated that the absence of a blood bank in Garhshankar caused significant hardship for residents needing blood. People had to travel either to Nawanshahr or Hoshiarpur, facing immense difficulties. During the Congress regime, he had secured approvals from the then Chief Minister and Health Minister, along with all necessary clearances from Delhi, to start the facility. However, the AAP government closed it immediately after taking office, and the current MLA is responsible for this.
Goldy accused the AAP government and the MLA of making false claims daily about providing facilities to Garhshankar residents, while systematically stripping away conveniences introduced by the Congress government. He warned that if the AAP does not reopen it, the Congress will prioritize restarting the blood bank upon forming the government.
Among those present were former Market Committee Garhshankar Chairman Mohan Singh Thiara, former Sarpanch Kashmir Singh, former Sarpanch Jagtar Singh Sadhowal, and others.
