Inaugurating the camp, Som Prakash said that blood donation is a sacred act that saves lives, brings happiness to patients’ families, and helps relieve their stress. Anita Som Prakash said that donating blood can save a life in need, and that there can be no greater happiness than helping someone live.
The camp was organised under the guidance of club president Pandit Rahul Sharma. Lovely Group Chairman Ramesh Mittal and industrialist Kuldeep Kumar Sardana were also present on the occasion. They said that organising a blood donation camp on one’s birthday is an inspiring example for society and should motivate others to follow suit.
Several social workers, especially young people, participated in the camp and donated blood as responsible citizens. The organisers expressed gratitude to all blood donors and attendees for making the event successful.
