AMU Dental College Resident Wins Second Prize at National Conference

ALIGARH, April 2: Dr. Sabaat Fatma, Junior Resident (JR1) in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), secured second position at the 23rd National Triple O Conference held at ITS Dental College, Ghaziabad.

The conference witnessed participation from leading dental professionals, academicians and postgraduate students from across the country.

Dr. Fatma presented a research paper titled “Desmoplastic Ameloblastoma: A Diagnostic Challenge in the Anterior Mandible,” highlighting the complexities in diagnosing this rare odontogenic tumour and the importance of accurate clinical and radiographic evaluation. Her presentation was highly appreciated by the expert panel, earning her second prize in the postgraduate paper presentation category.

Dr. Fatma expressed gratitude to her mentors and the department for their guidance and support.
