SAD Leader Condemns Desecration of Dr. Ambedkar Statue in Noorpur Jattan, Demands Strict Action

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) constituency in-charge Sanjeev Talwar has strongly condemned the desecration of the statue of Constitution maker Baba Sahib Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in Noorpur Jattan.
In a statement issued here today, he described the incident as not only shameful but also part of a deep conspiracy to disrupt societal peace and communal harmony.
Targeting the current government, Talwar said: "It is extremely regrettable that the government, which came to power by garnering votes in the name of Baba Saheb, is today proving utterly incapable of protecting his honour. Such incidents are the result of administrative laxity."
He demanded that the administration immediately arrest the culprits without delay and take exemplary action against them to ensure no one dares to repeat such an act in the future.
***Warning of Agitation**
Talwar warned in clear terms that the insult to Baba Saheb will not be tolerated at any cost. If the police and administration fail to deliver swift justice and rein in the guilty, the Shiromani Akali Dal will be forced to launch a fierce agitation and widespread protests.
Appealing to the community and local residents to maintain peace, he assured that the SAD stands firmly committed to defending Baba Saheb's honour on every front.
