The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Media Cell organised a “Journalists’ Meet” today under the guidance of City BJP President Dr. Jayprakash Soni. The event was held at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Akota, and was attended by members of the print media fraternity.

Addressing the gathering, City BJP President Dr. Jayprakash Soni appreciated the crucial role of journalists as one of the pillars of democracy. He acknowledged their continuous efforts in keeping democracy vibrant and their dedication to ensuring that truthful information reaches the public despite numerous challenges and risks.

He further stated that the fulfilment of several key commitments of the BJP since its inception—such as the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as a symbol of nationalism, and the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code—reflects the victory of the nation’s collective sentiments under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event was conducted by Media Cell Co-Incharge Mr. Kiranbhai Gurjar. Media Cell In-Charge Mr. Parthbhai Joshi introduced the dignitaries present, including General Secretaries Lakuleshbhai Trivedi, Deepakbhai Padhiar, and Rameshbhai Patel, along with members of the media team.

On this occasion, senior BJP leader Mr. R. B. Thakor, who has been actively associated with media activities for many years, was warmly welcomed by City BJP President Dr. Jayprakash Soni.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by senior member Mr. R. V. Thakor.
