Chabbewal rally to show Doaba stands firmly with Akali Dal/ Lali Bajwa

A meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) workers and leaders was held at the residence of party district president (urban) and senior vice-president Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa to prepare for the rally scheduled for April 3 in hu Chabbewal assembly segment under the leadership of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal. During the meeting, Lali Bajwa assigned duties to various party leaders for the rally. On this occasion, senior vice-president Iqbal Singh Kheda was also honoured under Lali Bajwa's leadership.
Lali Bajwa declared that the party's rally in Chabbewal, Hoshiarpur district, would be historic and would demonstrate that Doaba region stands with Akali Dal in the upcoming elections. He stated that Punjab's people have realised that only the state's regional party can protect Punjab's rights and interests. He highlighted that the development undertaken by Sukhbir Singh Badal, who served as deputy chief minister during the previous SAD government, is still visible across Punjab.
Lali Bajwa pointed out that during the Akali Dal regime, initiatives like sports facilities, health services, free electricity connections for tubewells, and convenience centres opened across the state marked significant achievements. In contrast, he criticised the current AAP government as a complete failure, accusing it of allowing Delhi interests to loot Punjab—a fact now exposed. He asserted that the people of the state are ready to teach AAP a lesson.
