Twenty second death anniversary of the ideal guru Laxapati Biswal

Laxapati Biswal Smriti Samiti Barpali and Brajeswari nrutyakala Parishad Kumbhari has organized a memorial committee to commemorate the 22nd death anniversary of the ideal guru and art organizer Laxapati Biswal under the chairmanship of Dr. Subal Chandra Majhi, president of the committee. Judhisthir Meher, a lyricist of Akashvani, was the chief guest, Bapuji Swatantra Bidyalaya's Dukhishevak Sahu and Duryodhan Barik were the honored guests. The late Biswal expressed his opinion that "Marinahi Set Marma Jayi" was a model guru, art organizer and a person with a big heart. Among others, Dr. Sridhar Biswal, Judhisthir Rana, Rabinarayan Viswal, Biranchi Rana, Surath Deheri, Niranjan Meher, Sarthak Shankar Dash, Vishnupriya Barik, Nirabati Viswal, Raghunath Kand, Hemkant Viswal, Gopabandhu Badhei, Pramod Bag, Umakant Biswal and Radhamohan Padhan paid their respects in their own style. The convener of the committee, Ramakanta Biswal, welcomed and introduced the gathering, while Surendra Veer Bhuvan Bhoi, the manager of the Dance Arts Council, sang Guru Vandana in the opening song. Editor Mahendra Meher announced the purpose of the meeting, while joint secretary Harsha Behera proposed the vote of thanks. The villagers cooperated and made the event a success.
