Assistant Professor Killed, Husband Injured in Rajouri Road Accident

Rajouri, Mar 26: A woman assistant professor was killed while her husband sustained injuries in a road accident in the Kallar area of Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.
According to officials, a Maruti Swift car met with an accident in Kallar earlier in the day. In the incident, Dr. Tabassum Naz, an assistant professor posted at Degree College Poonch, died on the spot.
Her husband, who was accompanying her, suffered multiple injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
