Delhi transport dept seeks report on Karol Bagh bus accident

NEW DELHI: (Mar 26) The Delhi transport department has sought details of the tourist bus accident in Karol Bagh that took place early Wednesday and claimed the lives of two passengers, with several others injured.

"We have sought a report on the matter; further action will be taken after the report from all concerned is received," a senior transport official said.

A speeding tourist bus from Jaipur overturned while taking a sharp turn near Hanuman Mandir in Karol Bagh's Jhandewalan area here early Wednesday, leading to the death of two passengers and injury to 23 others, police said.
