Sapkal taunts Eknath Shinde over Satara ZP president polls; says BJP does not need him any more
MUMBAI: (Mar 25) Maharashtra Congress president Harshwardhan Sapkal has taken a dig at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde over the Satara Zilla Parishad president's election, saying the BJP does not need him and his party Shiv Sena any more.
In a post on Facebook on Monday, Sapkal said Shinde is being needled everywhere, be it on issues related to Mantralaya, issue of self-styled godman Ashok Kharat or the election to the post of president of Satara Zilla Parishad.
He said Shinde betrayed his own party (undivided Shiv Sena) and became the chief minister.
