Man gets 10-years of rigorous imprisonment for raping hearing-impaired woman in UP

MIRZAPUR (UP): (Mar 24) A court here on Monday sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in a rape case involving a hearing-impaired woman, police said.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 60,000 on the convict.

On March 28, 2018, a complaint was lodged at the Chunar police station alleging that Mahesh Singh had trespassed into a house and raped the complainant’s daughter, who has a hearing impairment.
