Madrasa teacher arrested for sexually assaulting boy in UP's Muzaffarnagar

MUZAFFARNAGAR (UP): (Mar 23) A madrasa teacher was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old student in Shahpur town of the district, police said on Monday.

According to police, the incident came to light after a video of the alleged act surfaced on social media.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aditya Bansal said they have booked the teacher, 70-year-old Iqbal, under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
