Two Indian teens go missing while swimming in Nepal river

KATHMANDU: (Mar 23) Two teenagers from India were allegedly swept away while swimming in a river in Nepal’s Palpa district on Sunday, according to a media report.

Faran Ansari, 17, and Aman Ansari, both from UP’s Sant Kabir Nagar, went missing while swimming in Tinau river, government-run daily Gorkhapatra reported quoting Palpa district police sources.

The two teenagers were part of a group of seven youths from India that came to Tinau river in Tansen municipality. Two of them were swept away by the river, said Hom Prakash Chaudhari, information officer at the district police office.
