Today, I finally watched the much-awaited film *Dhurandhar 2*

*One-word review*
Masterpiece.

*Dhurandhar 2 deserves to be ranked among the top 10 greatest Indian films of the last 100 years*


*Screenplay*

the screenplay—written and directed with such precision and tightness—that despite being a four-hour-long film, it doesn’t give you even a moment to blink. Every scene keeps you completely engaged.

*Dialogues*

The dialogues are the soul of this film. Lines like:
“अगर फौज में शहीद होता तो माँ को मुआवजा मिलता”
“हर आदमी की एक क़ीमत होती है और ईमानदार आदमी की थोड़ी ज्यादा”
“यह नया हिंदुस्तान है, घर में घुसेगा भी और मारेगा भी”
“अब पाकिस्तान का मुस्तकबिल हिंदुस्तान तय करेगा”
add immense power and intensity to the narrative.

*Performances*

Ranbir Singh and Arjun Rampal deliver some of their finest performances.
R. Madhavan is outstanding as always, while Sanjay Dutt is impactful in his role.
However, Rakesh Bedi impresses the most once again—he is truly a legend.

*Music*


The background score is highly effective. The way old songs have been remixed and used feels excellent. Towards the end, there’s a melodious track sung by Arijit Singh that is truly soothing. Overall, the music is strong.


*Research & Detailing*

Beyond screenplay, dialogues, direction, performances, and music, what truly elevates this film to greatness is its deep research and peak detailing.
It realistically portrays:
How medals are awarded in the Pakistani army
How narratives are diverted
How terrorist training camps operate
How Sar tan se juda gang works
What to do with kafir
Final Verdict:

This is a must-watch for every Indian. It gives you insight into how our armed forces and agencies operate, and fills you with immense respect and pride. It will truly make your chest swell with pride.
