SAD appoints Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa as senior vice-president

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has appointed Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa, the party's Hoshiarpur district president (urban), as the senior vice-president of the party.Expressing gratitude to SAD president Sukhbir Badal and the party's senior leadership for the appointment, Jatinder Singh Lali Bajwa stated that the Akali Dal is Punjab's regional party and only it can resolve the state's issues. He emphasized that the Akali Dal has always raised its voice for Punjab and Punjabi identity, and it will continue to do so. Under the leadership of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, he added, the future SAD government will work to protect Punjab's interests and ensure its prosperity.Bajwa asserted that the people of the state have already decided to hand over the reins of Punjab to the Akali Dal in 2027.On this occasion, Bajwa was specially honoured with a siropa and Sri Sahib by Davinder Singh Bahowal and others.
