Origin: The date was set in honor of George Washington, who was an active Freemason and Worshipful Master of Alexandria Lodge No. 22. Esperanza Lodge No. 317 of the 6th Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey carried out a great service in its Masonic work on this day, where brotherly love and unity reigned among the brothers present.
