“No Shortage ofDomestic Cooking Gas in the State; Do Not Panic: Minister Nadendla Manohar”

Priority supply for commercial requirements is continuing uninterrupted. Gas is being made available conveniently to all domestic consumers across the state. While a surge in bookings was recorded over the past few days due to prevailingmisconceptions, there is, in reality, no shortage whatsoever. Key Highlights:Major oil companies—IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL—are maintaining supplies at full capacity. Top priority is being accorded to hospitals, school hostels, and emergency services.
Action is being initiated against 6 to 9 agencies suspected of diversion or engaging in dubious transactions. The public is cautioned against black-marketing and excessive bookings.
In urban areas, the transition from LPG cylinders to PNG (Piped Natural Gas) is being readied in accordance with the new policy. Kerosene supply is also set to commence shortly.
