DC Anantnag greets people on auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

ANANTNAG, MARCH 20:-
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr-2026, the Deputy Commissioner(DC) Anantnag, Dr Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat(IAS) has extended his warmest wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The DC in his message extended his good wishes to the people on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Notably, the festival is marked as the occasion when month-long fasting (Roza) of Ramadan comes to an end.

Eid-Ul-Fitr symbolizes the need to perform deeds of charity and providing financial support to the poor and needy besides engaging in humanitarian acts. The festival is characterised by spreading the feelings of love, compassion and affection among fellow human beings.

Dr. Bilal remarked while people are delighted to celebrate the completion of Ramadan, the spirit should continue throughout the year with core values of charity, cooperation and compassion that drive humanity on this planet.
