Delhi: Labourer electrocuted to death during construction work in Kapashera, co-worker injured
NEW DELHI: (Mar 20) A 45-year-old labourer died while another worker was injured after they suffered an electric shock during construction work in southwest Delhi's Kapashera area on Thursday, police said.
The incident was reported around 2:30 pm, following which a police team rushed to the spot. By the time it reached, the two injured men were already shifted to a nearby hospital in an ambulance, they said.
A preliminary inquiry revealed that the victims were engaged in construction work at a house in the area. One of the labourers, Jhulan (32), was on the first floor and he picked up a bamboo to pass it to his co-worker Rajkumar, also known as Ramchandra (45), who was on the second floor.
