Lehragaga Police takes action under CASO operation, arrests one with charas.

Lehragaga, March 19 (Suresh Jawahar Wala 90233-63132) Lehragaga Police has taken a major action against drug smugglers under the drug-free campaign.
DSP Lehragaga Ranbir Singh informed that as per the guidelines of Honorable SSP Sangrur Mr. Sartaj Singh Chahal, IPS, a special ‘CASO’ (Cordons and Search Operation) was being run in the area to monitor suspicious persons and drug smugglers.
Meanwhile, the police team showed promptness and arrested one person. During interrogation, he revealed his name as Lal Chand alias Mangu, a resident of Bhutal Kalan. During the search, 152 grams of charas and ganja were recovered from him.
The police have taken the accused into custody and registered a case against him under relevant legal sections.
The DSP said that the police administration is fully committed to the complete eradication of drugs and such operations will continue in the coming time as well, so that the society can be made drug free.
