Nepal’s Election Commission to submit final poll results to President Paudel on Friday

KATHMANDU: (Mar 19) Nepal’s electoral body on Wednesday said it will present the final results of elections to President Ramchandra Paudel on Friday afternoon.

The House of Representatives (HoR) elections held on March 5, 2026, elected a 275-member Lower House known as Pratinidhi Sabha. Of the 275 members of the HoR, 165 are elected through direct voting, and 110 are elected through proportionate voting.

Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured 182 seats, Nepali Congress secured 38 seats, CPN-UML 25, Nepali Communist Party 17, Shram Sanskriti Party 7 and Rastriya Prajatantra Party 5 seats in the Lower House.
