DPCC issues closure notices to over 90 industrial units in Delhi

NEW DELHI: (Mar 18) The Delhi Pollution Control Committee has issued closure notices to 93 industrial units in the Hyderpur Redevelopment area, reportedly for operating without requisite permissions, officials said on Wednesday.

The move is part of an enforcement campaign to curb industrial pollution in the national capital.

The action comes after verification drives by the DPCC found the units to be functioning without requisite approvals and allegedly violating pollution norms, officials said.
