Daljeet AjnohaThe four-day annual Chaitra Chaturdashi fair commenced with great enthusiasm at Pehowa's Saraswati Tirth, drawing devotees from across the country and abroad in large numbers. Following an ancient tradition, pilgrims arrive to perform rituals for the peace of their ancestors' souls, offering prayers to the divine with devotion, said Pandit Deepak Kumar Attri.The fair will continue for four days, concluding on March 19. On the inaugural day, the grand aarti was a sight worth witnessing.Adequate security and other arrangements have been made by the civil and police administrations, confirmed the Sub-Divisional Officer.Thousands of devotees are expected during these days. Police and civil authorities are making every effort to ensure the safety of pilgrims, maintain law and order, manage traffic, uphold cleanliness, and respect religious sentiments. Officials conduct regular checks to prevent any inconvenience to devotees.
