Hotels on fire at Laripora Pahalgam Kashmir

Anantnag , March 17 : A massive fire that broke out in the Laripora area of Pahalgam in the early hours of Tuesday engulfed three structures of a hotel Asal Resort and damaged one vehicle, triggering a major firefighting operation.

Officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Services said that Fire Station Pahalgam made the first turnout and rushed to the spot soon after the blaze was reported.

To control the flames, reinforcement was sought and fire tenders from Fire Station Sallar Anantnag and Fire Station Ashmuqam were also dispatched to the site.

Upon Arrival it was found that all three structures were involved and immediately Fire Fighting Operation was launched

After an intense firefighting operation, the blaze has been brought under control, and cooling operations are currently underway to prevent any possibility of the fire reigniting.

Officials said the fire operation was carried out under the overall supervision of ADGP Alok Kumar, while senior officials remained present on the ground monitoring the situation.

Officials Mentioned that Three structures of a hotel Asal Resort were Damaged in the fire, while one vehicle parked there were also damaged in the incident.

The exact cause of the fire and the assessment of losses are yet to be ascertained.
