Extensive preparations for lord Nrusinghanath birthday celebration

Extensive preparations have begun for the upcoming Nrusinghanath birthday celebration 2026 festival at Nrusinghanath Dham, a famous pilgrimage site in Padmapur, Bargarh district. Like every year, this year too, the birth anniversary of Lord Nrusinghanath will be celebrated in a devotional and spiritual atmosphere in the presence of a congregation of devotees. In 2026, Nrusinghanath Jayanti falls on 30th April (Thursday), the main birthday celebration will be celebrated on that day. On the occasion of the festival, the Vishwa Shanti Mahayagna will begin from 26th April 2026. The first day will be marked by the installation of the Kalash and the planting of the Ankura. On 27th April, the formal commencement of the Vishwa Shanti Mahayagna will be held along with the invitation of the deities and Gomata Puja, and the recitation of the Bija Mantra. On 28th and 29th April, cultural programs will be organized every evening along with the Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya and Bija Mantra Jaap. On 30th April 2026, on the main Janmotsav day, the Janmotsav Puja of Shri Shri Nrusinghhanath Mahaprabhu will be held from 7 pm. On this occasion, the Adikandha Samaj will offer Pita Kanda Bhog and there will also be a flag-tying program in the main temple. Cultural programs will also be organized for the devotees that evening. On the last day of the festival, 01st May 2026, the festival will be concluded with the completion of the Vishwa Shanti Mahayagya, the thousand-fold bath of the master and the evening alati program. Cultural programs will also be organized on that day.
