Virginia State Senate lauds Indian American journalist
WASHINGTON: (Mar 15) Virginia State Senate passed a resolution lauding the contribution of Indian American journalist T Vishnudatta Jayaraman for amplifying diverse voices and bringing greater attention to the South Asian community in the region.
A resolution commending Jayaraman, the founder and editor-in-chief of South Asian Herald, was passed by the Virginia State Senate on Friday.
“...through both the South Asian Herald and his other journalistic endeavors, Vishnudatta Jayaraman has amplified diverse voices, fostered informed dialogue, and brought greater attention to the South Asian community in the Commonwealth,” read the resolution introduced by Virginia State Senator Kannan Srinivasan.
