14-year-old raped inside parked train coach in Jharkhand

SAHIBGANJ: (Mar 15) A minor girl was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old man inside the coach of a train parked at the shunting yard of the Maharajpur Railway Station in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district on Saturday, a police officer said.

The GRP has registered an FIR and launched a manhunt to nab the accused, who was known to the victim.

Maharajpur Government Railway Police (GRP) officer-in-charge, Kailash Kumar Mahato, told PTI that the victim's brother-in-law has lodged a complaint alleging that his 14-year-old sister-in-law was sweeping the floor near his shop when the accused lured him on the pretext of marriage.
