New LG Sandhu hits ground running; takes stock of governance, service delivery issues

NEW DELHI: (Mar 13) Newly appointed Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Taranjit Singh Sandhu has hit the ground running, holding a series of review meetings with senior officers on Friday.

Sandhu took the oath of office and secrecy as the 23rd LG of Delhi in a ceremony at Lok Niwas on Tuesday.

In a series of posts on X, LG Sandhu shared details of his meetings with top officers, including Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar and other officers.
