Upgrading Health Services Across the State Will Be 'Top Priority' Upon Forming SAD Govt in 2027 - Sukhbir Badal Assures Brahmpura

Tarn Taran March 13, 2026: ( ) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) senior leader and Khadoor Sahib constituency in-charge, Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, held a special meeting with Party President Sukhbir Singh Badal in Amritsar to strongly raise the issue of the deteriorating health infrastructure. Brahmpura highlighted that due to the incumbent government's sheer negligence, local government hospitals are facing an acute shortage of doctors and modern machinery, forcing the common public to rely on expensive private hospitals for treatment.

Party President Sukhbir Singh Badal assured that as soon as the SAD forms the government in 2027, strengthening the health infrastructure across the state, including Khadoor Sahib, will be the foremost priority. He stated that constructing a high-level, modern hospital will be their first task. Furthermore, Sukhbir Singh Badal assured that new industries will be established in Sri Goindwal Sahib to generate employment for the local youth.

Specially present during the meeting, senior SAD leader Chairman Gursewak Singh Sheikh apprised the party president of other burning issues. He said that apart from healthcare, the region’s basic infrastructure and several public concerns have been neglected by the present government, causing resentment among residents.

Taking a firm stance, Sheikh stated that certain 'political tourists' are making futile attempts to mislead the public. However, breaching the impregnable fortress of the Brahmpura family is beyond their capacity, and the people of Khadoor Sahib will only endorse the constructive politics and visionary leadership of the SAD. - (END) -
