Foundation stone laid for the reconstruction of Bijepur to PWD road at an estimated cost of Rs 2.52 crore

The foundation stone of the reconstruction of Bijepur College Road to PWD Road at an estimated cost of Rs 2.52 crore was laid on Friday in Bargarh district. The foundation stone was laid by Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatiya. Participating in the foundation stone laying program, the MLA said that the improvement of the road is a major goal of the government. Bijepur will benefit especially the college students and the local residents if this road is reconstructed. This road connects Bijepur to Sohela and Padmapur. The MLA added that he is always working for the overall development of Bijepur region. Improving basic amenities like roads, drinking water, education and health are the government's priorities. Madhusudan Chowdhury, Asistant Engineer, was the guest of honour in this program. On this occasion, he said that the estimated cost for the reconstruction of this road is about two crore fifty two lakhs. Mahesh Debta, Pappu Pujari and many other dignitaries were present on this occasion. At the end of the program, Janardan Panigrahi proposed the vote of thanks.
