NIA files chargesheet against two men in Bihar in PFI conspiracy case
NEW DELHI: (Mar 13) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against two men in Bihar for alleged involvement in promoting the ideology of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) to establish Islamic rule in India, officials said on Thursday.
The case relates to a conspiracy by the PFI to disrupt peace and religious harmony through unlawful and anti-national activities in Bihar, they said.
With the supplementary chargesheet filed in a special NIA court in Patna on Wednesday, the total number of persons arrested and charged in the case has gone up to 20.
