Grand Gurmat Samagam to Mark Nanakshahi New Year at Gurdwara Shahidan Ladhewal

Gurdwara Shahidan Ladhewal in Mahilpur will host a grand Gurmat Samagam on March 13, organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) in collaboration with congregations from India and abroad, and the Sahibzada Baba Ajit Singh Ji Seva Society of the Mahilpur region.In a joint statement, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, SGPC President; Gurdial Singh, Manager of Gurdwara Shahidan; Jathedar Harbans Singh, Head Granthi; Jathedar Daya Singh Meghowal; and Jaspal Singh Pala announced that the event is dedicated to the advent of the first Chet of the Nanakshahi calendar year 557. It will run from 7 pm to midnight.Prominent ragis, dhadis, kathavachaks, and kirtan jathas from the Panth will enthral the congregation with soulful Gurbani kirtan, katha discourses, and dhadhi vaars. Key participants include Bhai Gurbhej Singh, Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib; Balvir Singh Hussainpuri, Kavishar from the Dharm Prachar Committee; Giani Manjit Singh from Ludhiana's Panthak Dhadhi Jatha; Bhai Palwinder Singh, Head Granthi and Kathavachak from Gurdwara Charan Kamal Sahib, Banga; Bhai Hamesh Singh, Hazuri Ragi at Gurdwara Shahidan Ladhewal; and Bhai Gurjinder Singh, Kathavachak at Gurdwara Shahidan Ladhewal.Guru ka Langar will be served continuously to the devotees throughout the event.
