Foundation stone laid for new building of Bijepur CHC, estimated cost of Rs 16.75 crore

With the aim of further strengthening health facilities in Bijepur area of ​​Bargarh district, the foundation stone was laid on Thursday for the construction of a new building of Bijepur Community Health Center (CHC). The foundation stone was laid by the MLA of Bijepur constituency Sanat Kumar Gadatiya. It has been reported that the new building will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 16.75 crore. Speaking at the foundation stone laying program, the MLA said that the people of rural areas should also get better and quality health services. Therefore, the state government is taking many steps to further strengthen the health infrastructure. With the construction of this new building of Bijepur CHC, medical facilities will be further enhanced here and patients will be able to get treatment with greater convenience. He said that this new building will prove to be very beneficial for patients coming from far-flung villages. He has always worked for the overall development of Bijepur area. The government's priority is to improve basic amenities like roads, drinking water, education and health. Since health care is the most important need of human life, the government is giving special importance to this sector. He expressed his opinion that the construction of the new building will also create a good working environment for doctors and health workers.
Bargarh District Chief Medical and Public Health Officer Dr. Kuber Charan Mahant attended the program as the guest of honor. In his speech, he said that the government is taking continuous steps to increase health facilities in rural areas. After the construction of the new building, patients will get better medical facilities and the services of the health center will be further strengthened, he said.
