Universal Pictures developing movie based on rock band Bon Jovi

LOS ANGELES: (Mar 11) A feature film based on legendary American rock band Bon Jovi is in the works with Universal Pictures backing the project after winning a competitive bidding war.

Screenwriter Cody Brotter, who also penned the upcoming crypto thriller “Killing Satoshi” starring Pete Davidson and Casey Affleck, has been tapped to write the screenplay, according to Variety.

The project is currently in early development, with no director attached yet and casting for the band’s key members still undecided.
