Punjab Cabinet approves new university, recruitment of 1,158 assistant professors in govt colleges

CHANDIGARH: (Mar 7) The Punjab Cabinet on Saturday approved the establishment of a world-class Sri Guru Teg Bahadur University at Anandpur Sahib and the recruitment of 1,158 assistant professors and librarians in government colleges.

A new industrial policy to boost industrial growth was also given the nod.

These decisions were made during a key meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann here.
