Biju Babu was the symbol of Odia asmita

The birth anniversary of the great Biju Patnaik was celebrated by the Ambedkar lohia bichar manch Barpali at Gangadhar Meher Club in the chairmanship of the President of the Bargarh Forum, Tejarj Bhoi. The event was graced by the chief guest, former MLA of Bijepur Ashok Kumar Panigrahi, the keynote speaker, farmer leader Brushavanu Padhan, retired teacher Purna Padhan, the guest of honor, retired principal of Barpali College, Ghanashyam Panigrahi, and retired Durgapati Vijay Prakash Babu. They expressed their views that he was a brave pilot, an ideal Chief Minister, a self-respecting, an internationally renowned politician and a symbol of Odia independence. First, they lit a lamp and garlanded the photo of poet Gangadhar Meher and Biju Patnaik. General Secretary of the Forum, Pabitra Bag delivered the welcome speech. Harsha Behera, another General Secretary of the Forum, introduced the purpose of the meeting, while Brundabana Sahu, a professor of Chhattisgarh Barmakela College, proposed the vote of thanks.
