Big Breaking news --- A Sukhoi Su-30 MKI reportedly flying from Jorhat is suspected to have crashed in a remote hilly area near Nilip Block under Chokihola in the Karbi Anglong E

district on the evening of March 5

Local residents reported hearina a loud explosion around 7 pm, followed by smoke rising from the hills triggering panic in nearby villages.

The suspected crash site lies deep in the Karbi Anglong hill terrain, making access difficult. Officials are expected to launch

search and rescue operations, while confirmation about the aircraft and the pilots is still awaited
