Former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader Tikshan Sood stated in a press note that the BJP's massive rally in Moga on March 14 will draw lakhs of people. Rally in-charge and BJP State Vice-President Dr. Subhash Sharma held a meeting with party workers at the BJP office yesterday to review preparations.Mr. Sood and Dr. Sharma asserted that this rally will serve as the cornerstone for forming a BJP government in Punjab. The chief speaker will be Union Home Minister Amit Shah.Punjab's people are deeply frustrated with the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) poor and substandard governance. AAP deceived Punjabis by winning votes in the name of change, but none of its guarantees have materialized. Four years into power, drug menace has not only persisted but increased, illegal mining is rampant, and law and order have shaken the state to its core. The debt burden on Punjab has doubled, leaving no one feeling secure. Promises to provide Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops to farmers remain unfulfilled, unlike in Haryana where the BJP government delivers on them. Women have yet to receive their promised thousands of rupees monthly, and resentment simmers among government employees. Jungle raj prevails in Punjab, but people yearn for change—they want a BJP government like in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to rescue the state from all crises.Through this Change Rally, the BJP will awaken Punjab's people and call upon them to oust the current inept government. Enthusiasm is surging among the public to participate in the rally.
