Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today instructed heads of various departments to ensure registration of all officers and employees under their departments in the Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana. She was addressing a meeting of officials at the District Administrative Complex.Scheme Overview and DirectivesUnder the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is providing cashless treatment to every resident of the state through this scheme, ensuring no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the facility DC Jain informed that registrations are currently underway at over 300 locations in the district, including the service center at the District Administrative Complex. She directed departments to set up registration camps at convenient locations by notifying Assistant Commissioner Oaishi Mandal in advance for necessary arrangements.Appeal to ResidentsDC Jain appealed to Hoshiarpur residents to get registered under the scheme at the earliest to avail maximum benefits. Beneficiaries can access cashless treatment from the first day of registration, covering serious illnesses like liver, kidney, cancer, and various surgeries in both government and private hospitals across the state.Upgrade and Registration ProcessThose holding the existing Rs 5 lakh Ayushman card can upgrade to the Rs 10 lakh Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana card via a simple e-KYC process. A helpline number 7589944720 has been launched for guidance on card creation locations and procedures. Required documents include Aadhaar card (linked with mobile), voter card, and birth certificate for minors; at least two family members must be present.The DC urged residents to visit nearby service camps or Common Service Centres promptly to secure health coverage for their families. Assistant Commissioner Oaishi Mandal, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mandeep, and other departmental officers were present.
