Forest Department prepares for wild elephant capture in Channapatna – operation with 6 herds
Ramanagara: The government has given permission to capture two wild elephants in the Channapatna-Ramanagar area due to the increase in the number of wild elephants, and a poaching operation has been started in Channapatna from today.
The operation has been started from near B.V. Halli village in Channapatna, and the poaching operation will be carried out from 6 elephants. The forest department has started preparations to capture poaching from Sugreeva, Kanjan, Dhananjaya, Harsha, Eshwara, Ayyappa elephants, and the operation has started after offering prayers to the elephants.
