Visakhapatnam, February 27, AIMA MEDIA NEWS: If you are planning to visit the bank in the month of March, it is better to check the bank holidays in March in advance. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the list of bank holidays every month. Let's find out which days are holidays for banks in the month of March.. Banks will be closed for a total of 18 days this March.

When and where will banks be closed in the month of March?

* March 1 – Banks will be closed across the country due to Sunday being a holiday.

* March 2 – Banks in Kanpur and Lucknow will be closed due to Holika Dahan.

* March 3- Banks will remain closed on the second day of Holi as well as in Belapur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Ranchi, Vijayawada.

* March 4- Banks in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Imphal, Itanagar, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla will remain closed.

* March 8- All banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.

* March 13- Banks in Aizawl will remain closed today due to Chapchar Kut.

* March 14 will remain closed on the second Saturday of the month, making it a holiday for all banks across the country.

* March 15 – Sunday is a holiday. Due to this, banks will remain closed across the country.

* March 17 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on account of Shab-e-Qadr.

* March 19 – Gudi Padwa/Ugadi festival/Telugu New Year. Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Srinagar, Vijayawada.

* March 20 – Banks will remain closed in Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada on account of Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramzan)/Jumat-ul-Wida.

* March 21 – Banks will remain closed in all cities except Kochi, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada on account of Ramzan-Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr) (Shawal-1)/Khutub-e-Ramzan/Sarhul.

* March 22 – Banks across the country will be closed on Sunday due to holiday.

* March 26 – Shri Ram Navami. Due to this, banks in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ranchi, Shimla will be closed.

* March 27 – Banks in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Patna, Vijayawada will be closed on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami (Chaiti Dasain).

* March 28 – Fourth Saturday of the month. Due to this, all banks in the country will be closed.

* March 29 – Sunday, all banks across the country will be closed.

* March 31- Banks will remain completely closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi due to Mahavir Janmakalyanak/Mahavir Jayanti.
