Residents of Karanbagh Colony in Saidabad donated 32 high-definition CCTV cameras to the Hyderabad City Police

Residents of Karanbagh Colony in Saidabad donated 32 high-definition CCTV cameras to the Hyderabad City Police under the “Empowering Your Everyday Safety (EYES)” and “Donate a Camera” initiatives on February 23, 2026.

The cameras were handed over by the Karanbagh Colony Association in the presence of V.C. Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. He described CCTV cameras as “force multipliers” that enhance round-the-clock surveillance and provide unbiased evidence, and urged citizens and corporate organizations to contribute cameras under CSR initiatives to strengthen public safety.

Senior police officials and colony association members attended the event. The initiative reflects growing community participation in supporting urban security infrastructure in Hyderabad.
